Avoiding a podkill and freighter trick : EVE Online Submissions

To avoid a podkill you want every last second given to you. Lag can kill and is a lousy excuse for a death.

So if you are getting blasted and the outlook is grim. Turn off turret effects and other effects. Look into your shortcuts when you hit esc BEFORE you go into battle to know what they are.

ctrl+e is one.

You are better off disabling them for pvp anyways but sometimes you might get caught offguard.

Close your People and Places. Close all windows you don't need. Have a waypoint already set so you can hit autopilot to make things quicker than clicking on a destination and selecting warp to.



If you haven't been engaged and are in a freighter, you can have friends use a trick with webifiers to make them turn and insta warp. Do this while you align. Minimize
