Artisan vs Adventurer : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Not sure if anybody here will know this but figured I would try. Upon arriving in Qeynos I decided to make one of my alts an Artisan instead of an Adventurer, thinking I might be able to create superior items or at least make them easier or faster. His crafts dont seem to be any different than anything else on the market and seems to craft the same as my primary character. Other than sucking in combat, what is the difference between the Artisan and the Adventurer?

There is absolutely no difference... even in combat.

It is purly flavor text. The devs have stated that several times.

I was wondering that for a while too.

It used to make a difference because of a bug that made adventurers lose certain skill points if their tradeskill level went higher than their adventure level.
But that was fixed recently so no need to worry.
