Carshing EQ2 : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Ok so ive downloaded and installed ok. Click play all seems to load ok. Choose what charater to play and Click play. Get to loading Zone and EQ2 stop, no error and im back at the desk top. I cant log in for a few mins untill my account resets. Tried all the options on and off.
Any ideas?

PS i am getting the Update error. Do you have to open a port on the router?

PPS. Ive also not chosen a Chara from the 1st screen, but go to the Chara selection screen. Choose 1 and getting crash when Loading zone res'

Did I pay for nothing

It could be quite a few things.

Post a screenshot of your plugins tab, options tab, and xunleashed log.

Make sure you tried unchecking the tcpip packet sniffer, uninstalling FRAPS, etc, and dissabling your Antivirus stuff.

Also, make sure windows is patched with ALL updates including SP2, .net framework, etc.

I have the same crash as everyone else, however I was able to get it to crash in a unique way tonight. I setup the crafting session, by bringing up the crafter tool but before training, I starting the crafting process. I was trying to do a dry run before selecting which spells I wanted to fire each round. It crashed. So it isn't the training script.
