Looking for a new MMORPG : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Hi I just recently got banned from WOW and that extra $15 a month is making my walet too heavy to carry so I'm looking fo a good game to take my money. First off let me say what I'm looking for I am into crafting not too much into lvling. WOW sucked for crafting, I have played FFXI but don't want to go back to that. I was wondering how good is EQ2 crafting system. I want to know stuff like how it effects the econmy of the game and how do you sell what you make all that kind of stuff

The EQ2 crafting system is retarded...WoW was a far better system for crafting (if that tells ya anything). EQ2 does however have more stuff you can craft, tons more then WoW...thing is that the economy (at least on my server) was really borked.

EQ2 crafting system requires interdependancy that means if you are a armorer you will need an alchmist to make you tempers and tailor to make you padding (tailor would also need the alchemist to make things for said padding)

After a recent patch it was made so that everyone can make the stuff they need so it lessons the interdependancy a bit but it requires twice the fuel (which costs a ton more now too).

Personally I would wait untill more comes out about Tabula Rasa or the other game coming out by the makers of EQ1 who quit SoE (cant think of the name atm).
