New metal relics? : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Anyone know what the blackend iron, feysteel, and steel relics are used for yet?

You turn them into the appropriate faction, where you get your city writs, for guild status points, rather than money. Typically a relic will get between 100 and 300 gsp and a few copper. There is no other reason for them that I can tell. They cannot be used in Tradeskills. And they don't appear to be very valuable, despite what the material they are made from implies.
