I am at work but the patch message says that merchants will not buy crafted goods, and in the future when they will again, the buyback prices will be much lower. Can anyone confirm that NO merchants are buying crafted goods?

Yep they nerfed crafted goods for merchants. You can no longer sell them anywhere except to other players for now =/

just checked, they dont buy packets of spice anymore.
That's pretty bad... and I just picked provisioner yesterday. Now that's so useless.

someone mentioned those 4 silver fish are now 30 copper, which is the cost of producing it without the fish, which costs nothing if you fish it but time.
24 copper for the spice if you buy it, and 6 copper for the coal.

I wish there was a way to switch from Provisioner to Outfitter or something, then I could actually make money by selling my products to players. Provisioners cant sell anything to players.

I Think its just a mtter of time, till people realise the giant advantages of good food. Once they get equipment, and spells/ability they will have plat, and nothing to spend it on. And food will be a continuing expence.

Currently however, much more food is being crafted then is being purchased/eaten, so prices are rock bottom.

it will take months before people will start going for maximum efficiency and buy high quality food, and furniture and stuff like that.
It's just useless now :(
