Semi Legal Tradeskill Macros : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

I would be interested in hearing how others are semi legal tradeskill macroing?

I use the Saitek Gamers keyboard pad and created a macro that calls buffs linked to the hotbar. Saitek's macro program does not allow you to repeat a macro but you can stack buffs and mouse clicks.

I run this on a separate computer at work with the keypad next to my main computer. I taped a pencil on top of the macro key and when I hear that the build is finished I reach over and use my wrist to hit the pencil>macro key>mouse click repeat>spam buffs. My main buff increases durablity and I get pristine 90% of the time.

I wish their was a unique sound when a build is finished so that i would know when to hit the pencil.

ps I joined Taunt before I found Xunleashed, wish I had bought premium membership here.

See the description of the tradeskill macro in the downloads. It is pretty nice.
(I'm biased of course since I made it, hehe)

I use a Nostromo Game pad, which allows marcos to repeat until you kill them- I too pretty much spam durability- its MUCH slower, but it guarentees refreshing (provisioner- too dangerous to try with any other tradeskill) every time. I've worked out the best rotation that keeps buffs up, and, if Im drinking player made drink, I stay at full power the whole time. Any other tradeskill, you have to use a smarter macro that recognizes events and counters them, otherwise you'll get dead quick.

See the hunting (megabot) in the downloads. Very advanced hunting bot with waypoints, routes, patrolling, buffing, party bot, etc. very nice.

I was thinking of going with the new wireless Nostromo Game Pad in a few months. After the bot witch hunt brewing with the introduction of Station Exchange calms down.
