Sorry I didn't know where else to post it but I felt it was a very very nice resource since you can take the finished item you want to make and trace its components to make it and them all the way back to the basic items needed.

My bad if this is in the wrong area, I am not into the whole "point" thing you guys are doing I was just trying to be helpful to others that could use such a resource.

DISCLAIMER: This is just me talking and giving my understanding of the system. If I am wrong, I will not pay the difference =)

For every 10 points you receive, you get an entry into the contest (no word as to whether this includes post points...)

For every 1000 points you receive, you receive $5 - plain and simple. Admin posted in general a guide on what types of posts get how many points.

Oh - I'll upload and post a link to it later, but I wrote a simple program that reads in the recipes. file in your EQ2/cache directory and outputs a CSV spreadsheet with the ID #, Name, Description, etc.

Loriak, don't worry, you posted in the right place. I was just eager to use points for the first time.

PS - I checked with admin but he was sorta busy - is everybody supposed to have the option to donate? Because they do.

Also i think you 'EQ2 Masters' are allowed you Donate, dunno why though, thats my job.

I went to http://eq2.tentonhammer.com but couldn't find anything having to do with crafting other than basic stuff from EQ2players.com..

Am I missing the crafting area somewhere?

I know you said "isn't only for crafting" but I assumed there would be something there.
