EQ2: SP Solo Arena ... Lower the Mob's Levels : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

Ok.. here is a nice little trick.. group with someone lower lvl than ya... mentor them. Zone into the arena.. drop group... then bam.. mobs lvl is lowered.. and easier to complete.

It works. Moving to confirmed.

For the arena I believe 3 lvls lower is the max you can drop it. can I get a confirmed on that?

no, you can drop it as long as you dont grey it. ive dropped it 10 levels, then put it on hard or very hard to make it green

you can do it for all the zones down there....try green heroic.

If you mentor someone who is 4levels behind you, the first mobs are grey, so you dont get any reward completing the arena. 3levels is max.

re. the debate of how far down you can mentor- if you re-read his post, hes saying you can mentor down more than 10 if you do the hard or extra hard because that increases the mobs levels...follow?
