EQ2: STORM HOLD shard trick : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

here is a trick i learned to get shard back if you die in stormhold in antonica. go to the beach where there are a bunch of crabs hanging around. watch out for the named crab, he is the only one who will agro. there is a door that is locked. this is a back door to storm hold. if you have not unlocked is just walk up to it and right click and get your shard back. thats it, real simple trick that works.

this also works for varsoon in TS. the back door is in the moutain due N(not positive) from main enterance. I tested it the other day and it still works.

Nifty little exploit. Although not huge.

The same thing works for every locked area.
Same like that area near the hidden canyon in the commonlands.

you think this exploit is not hudge untill your with a grp deep in stormhold every 1 dies and the grp breaks apart. then this trick saves you alot of time trying to get ppl to help you get your shard back.

Its not an exploit, its part of the game.
youre meant to be able to click on the doors to recover shards, there has to be some way of getting your shard if you leave your group and cant get back in a zone to retrieve it.
SOE meant it to be that way
