Test:: Mentoring bug *NERFED* : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

Whats 'mentor'? And this is no doubt only on the test server?

It is a new system in EQ2 that allows you to temporarily lower your level.

So I have a friend in my guild that is level 49, he can select mentor on me then he becomes level 22, and he gets 75% of normal exp. Then he can choose to quit being my mentor and then his hp is filled, then rementor me, keeping his hp to max.

Yeah its currently on test right now. But its still a exploit right? It may make it to live as we're usually only 3-5 days ahead.

Ahuh, ok i just checked it out and it works. Since you've found an exploit i'll give you points, but its only on the test server so i'm gonna cut 75% from your reward. If it makes it into the live servers i'll give you the 75%. (If it does, remind me!)

This bug is fixed on test so I doubt it'll make its way to live.
