404 error ? : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Not sure exactly where to post this so I am posting this here.When I try and run XUnleashed I get the error saying....Error 404 can't run the patch,can't remember verbatum but along those lines that is what it's saying...and it's doing it on both accounts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Send Admin a PM about it, are you getting this error when you click to load XU and it is trying to patch or when it is up and your pressing PLAY to go into the game.?

Has your configuration loaded fine in the past and it just started doing this?

They might have the servers down (it seems to be their favorite thing to do). Often if the patch server's are down I just continue through and play without the patch, depending on what is down often it allows you to load up.

I too am receiving the same error message. It occurs when loading XU and trying to patch. Today is the first time I've encountered this problem. The program's worked like a champ prior.

First error message is:
Error 404: File not found on patch server.

Followed by:
There was an error while updating. The system may become unstable due to incomplete updates.

I bet they are screwing with stuff on the server.

Sorry for taking so long to repost...just got back in from work,like the above posted stated that is exactly the problem I'm having.Yesterday everything worked fine til I tried to log on this morning,hope everything gets worked out soon

I kinda figured if they might be messing with the servers.

Filesever needed to be updated it will be working in the next few hours.
