discovery exp bug : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Hello, I have gone from 46-48 today because of this exp bug, and havent even really exploited it that much, it seems that all of my area discovery exp has been reset, this coupled with my use of the speed hack, enabled to level 2 times allready simply on running around, do this get speed hack, start in lowest areas, it has worked for me everywhere I go , and just go to all areas that have discovery exp, for instance houses in rivervale, ding ding ding...just watch out for people....use at own risk speed hacking will get you in trouble.....

this might be a bug, thats what i thot at first, but then as i thot more, i think its for the new AAs cuz discovery exp also gives AA exp

This didn't work for me. Could you be you got lucky and they changed it quickly.

dont think so I am testing it now see if it is still in there....seems so far low level areas arent working, so that guys idea about it being aa related is probably true....which doesnt take away from fast exp, but my theory is it is level related were as has to be near your level testing now////

At level 60 I went to EL, Rivervale, and Lavastorm and got discovery exp both adventure and AA exp. It also noted I did a total of 33 discoveries between all 3 of those places.

I did try RE and didn't get any discoveries there. EL is not in my level range so I think that eliminates the level range theory. Rivervale is also not in my level range. Pretty much all of lavastorm is grey...except for lord Vyfl or something like that in the temple that is lvl 70 now.

I wasn't expecting him when I went running through there and was immediately killed so watch out if you run through Lavastorm.

P.S. this was last night so I hear its been fixed....

This is basic supposed to happen, if you have a level 60 and explored most zones your going to at a loss for the KOS AA exp upon release.

Was reset for this reason.

No, you will not be grandfathered achievement points. The idea is that you achieve things after the system goes live. That said, you can earn achievement experience by exploring regions you've already been to, defeating boss mobs you've defeated before achievements were live, etc. It will only count the first time you do it after you get Kingdom of Sky and only if the activity is of appropriate challenge for your character.
