Guardian / Templar Combat response string example:
CombatResponseSequenceSTR=distract,qb4,Distract,6,1s,900s,NONE,hits a skel,qb3,Skeleton Master Smite,5,2s,60s,TARGET,a starter chain,qb1,Minor Healing,8,2s,4s,TARGET,triggered divine blade,qb3,Smite,3,2s,3s,TARGET,triggered crippling shroud,qb3,Combatative faith,7,2s,15s,TARGET,triggered Divine Nobility,qb1,Minor healing,8,3s,9s,TARGET
Some info :
The 'distract' is there to cast a distract spell when the bot gets aggro. It's a hotbutton pushed on the leading character's comp with '/tell templar distract' on it.
'a starter chain' detects when the main character (guardian) pushes the heroic opportunities button. The Templar will cast a small heal to advance and trigger a combo HO. At that time you push the ability to further advance the HO (in case of my guardian this could be a slam). This will trigger the last stage of the HO, that has to be finished by the bot.
In this specific fighter/healer combo, there are 3 posibilities as outcome for the last stage of the HO:
Divine Blade, Crippling Shroud or Divine Nobility.
The bot sees the message, starting with 'triggered ... and then one of these 3 posibilities, and will cast the right spell to finish the combo HO.
Divinde blade is finished with a 'Smite' on qb3, button 3
If it's crippling Shroud, it is finished with 'Combatative faith' on qb3, button 7
In case of the last possibility 'divine nobility', this combo is finished by casting a 'minor healing' on qb1, button 8.
I use these lesser spells to save power, but other spells with the same HO-icon are ok as well.
This way, the bot misses like 20% of the HO's, probably because of battlespam, or the right spell not being ready at the moment it has to be cast, but that is more than fair enough. It's a good idea however to use the spells with the shortest casttimes to finish the HO before time runs out.
3 player combo's should be doable this way as well, but I'm afraid the responsetime isn't fast enough to finish a 3-stage HO within the given time.
A suggestion of a feature that would be a lot of help :
Passing a commandstring that would be treated as /doability 'commandstring that was passed' or /commandstring on the bot's side. This would make it possible to cast spells that are not on a quickbar, or a way to make the bot assist me, target me, invite me, disband, zone out etc. Would save a lot of trouble setting up the 2 toons because the computers are in different rooms and I have to run back and forth a couple of times before everything is set up.
Keep up the good work, I can't wait for the hunterbot to arrive...
