Failed to load XML file for plugin error : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Greetings,

The EQ2 Radar was working for me, but now am having problems loading. I forced the plugins to update to get the new EQ2 Servicer 1.2.1.0. Because I forced the update, I knew I had to reload the AMD fix. I did this, and do confirm that version 3.0.0.14 is installed.

Now, when I launch EQ2 I get: Error: Failed to load the XML file for a plugin

When I press OK, it continues loading, but just before it gets to the character selection screen, the client crashes to the desktop.

Anyone else have this issue, or know what can be done to correct it?

Thanks,
JM

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the radar, and then putting back the AMD fix. You may have to register that version of the DLL.

make sure all plugins show a version number.

any that show <NO VERSION> will need to be dragged to the uninstall line.

PS, unknown status is ok, ignore that.

Ok, I tried all the things stated. I deleted all the files, and reinstalled everything. It installs just fine, but will not work.

When I go to the character selection screen, and go to the bottom for the XUnleashed menu, it states: XUnleashed Pictureloader - No error occured.

I have included my log file for reference.

Delete your plugins folder.

Reload up XU and let it repatch.

Go to the plugins tab and remove all 3rd party plugins by dragging to the uninstall line.

Close XU.

Head to the downloads and reinstall the EQ2Radar plugin and the EQ2 Service plugin.
