Yeah i know what u mean about the rare buffs now. Im a prov and got the short straw. When i counter the rare buff i get a dandelion fibre. WOW!! not. whereas alchies get a silver or palladium and armorers get a feysteel or ebon depending on tiers of course. But yeh its pretty one sided.

And as far as using the crafter plugin i have not had one problem with a GM sending me a tell or moving me before or after this LU#6 and i use it a fair bit but am never afk while doing it.

Personally, I would not craft afk until I .... well nevermind. I just wouldnt do it.


That said, I am going to add some movement detection, and some simply replies that can be customized like. "Gotta run". or "What the.. darn mouse, gotta restart guys, brb."
Or whatever.

I never had a problem either with getting a GM tell. However I did have a close call once with some anal player who thought I was macroing. But a quick guilt trip made him cancel the ticket he had sent or so he said. Anyways like Wyv said I never craft AFK, I'm always around the computer at least reading a book or doing some homework or playing an alt on the other comp/account etc. And I use the crafter just about every time I craft and I have 2 t5 crafters and 3 t4 crafters.

Never been caught, never been suspected.
Hell, I never would have gotten where I am as a crafter without the macro!

Used to make decent change at it until they nerfed the cost of the oils, washes, resins, ect. But even still, it would take several hundred combines to produce a 1 gold.

Are they worried about crafters macroing? I doubt it. I like wyverns idea for triggered messages though. And how about the merchant buy/sell feature? That would be seriously handy.

They are checking for harvest bots now, so just be warned if you bot afk. I used it for a couple of hrs afk while i went out. Luckily I had just came home, sat down at the PC and a GM sent me a tell to see if I was there. He said there was a report of me using a macro, I denied it of course and he appoligized for the confusion. I learned my lesson, it wont happen again And a RL friend of mine did get his acct suspended for afk harvest botting (15hrs a day though.) So dont believe it wont happen to you, you have been warned.

Uhhhh isn't the whole point of the macro so you can do something else while it crafts? lol? i let mine run on one crafter while i sleep, and on another crafter while im at school. Never had any problems and I really doubt I will in the near future. Even if I do it's just an alt account so who cares :p

Ya, an alt might not matter, but this was his lv 50 mystic :/ and i use it on my mains as well, but more carefully. Crafting is a bit diff than harvesting neway. Its much more obvious for a harvester to be afk than a crafter. Just my 2cp.
