Getting started : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Does anyone have the old manual or just a general readme on how to get started? I'm a bit new to this.

My main problem is the Unleashed Taskbar not showing up when it launches, got the right path and everything but when the game launches it's simply not there.

Set your config to EQ2 in the config tab of XU.

When you click play on the xu launcher, it should launch EQ2.

Next, post a log (your xunleashed log). If you get an error for any plugin, xu will fail to load.

Also, uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer plugin.

Okay, the packet sniffer got me, now my problem is one of getting the Map Script to show up on the XUnleashed taskbar in-game, it's simply not there :/

You must install it.

download the eq2service and the eq2radar plugins.

Save the .xui files to your desktop.

Double click both of them.

Then launch XU.

It should show both of them listed on the plugins tab.

okay the eq2 service is what i was missing now, thanks wyvern, sorry just a bit new to this.

I was wondering if this was normal

I click on the script tab in game for the radar, and it brings up a grey box that looks like a grid instead of the radar that's in the Screenshot in downloads.

Is there soemthing i am missing?

Remember to place a persona window or some eq2 window behind it to be able to interract with it.
