'High Jump' with Gnomish Stilts : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

I've noticed this over the past few days when I was fooling around with a pair of my Gnomish Stilts.

Item- Spring-Loaded Gnomish Stilts

How To:

Open up a bag or throw the Gnomish Stilts onto your hot bar. When you go to jump, imedietly equip the Gnomish Stilts. This has to be done almost at the same time to achieve maximum height.

This will send you flying into the air like a Fae, except after a few second your 'float fall' will wear out.

I have done similar. If you equip your gnomish spring boots, and activate them, then equip your gnomish stilts you float about 30 meters into the air. If you cancel the gnomish spring boots while at the apex of your jump you can then move around, and float on top of buildings or wherever you want.

Fun to do.

This is a variation of that only involving the tinkered boots, as most of us have gotten rid of the gnomish spring boots because of the horrible mitigation on them for some classes.

This can also be done while running and is executed very easily once mastered...which is pretty easily done. >.>

No its not, that trick requires that you have the gnomish SPRING BOOTS, this one ONLY requires the Tinkered boots. Please read before posting.

nay # You can no longer jump to extreme heights after putting on the tinkered stilts while jumping.
