How do i use AutoIT?

1. Install AutoIT Version 3

2. Now copy (Ctrl+C) all the code of the macro you want to use.

3. Open notepad or right click on your desktop and go to new>text document and name it what ever you want.

4. Paste (Ctrl+V) the macro code into the document and save it.

5. Go to the folder you have the document in and replace .txt to .au3, Example: <i>.AU3

b) Optional: Open Notepad and paste the copied macro in:

Select File -> Save As.. -> Click on Save as Type -> Click on 'Select All Files' -> Enter MacroName.au3 in Filename area and click on SAVE

6. Open the Macroname.au3 file and it will ask to associate it with a program (if you used zipped AutoIT Setup), locate the /autoit/autoit.exe file and select that as the program to Open these files of type with.

7. Your done! The icon of the document should have changed to a AutoIT icon. Now all you have to do is double click it to run it.

Do you have EQ2 open when you run it? It is trying to set the active window to the EQ2 window.

Perhaps it is better to post in a seperate topic instead of adding to this one since it is just a ref.
