Maybe a Betrayer Exploit : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

I have a question and would like it answered by people that have tried it. I have theories but trying to get it supported. I have accepted the Qeynos betrayl at lvl 16 and am at the part where you kill the Queen. I have not done so yet. Has anyone ever gotten this quest then just went ahead and lvled to 20? I wonder if you could still get access to the instance zone to kill the Queen since you ALREADY have the quest after you lvl up a little. Now I realize you can not get the quest after 18 but I have it already. I am talked about the INSTANCED ZONE!! Just making sure there is no confusion. My theory is this. If you accept the quest and do not do the instance zone can you lvl up to 20 become a class that is qeynos only then do the instance zone and betray. Just and idea to look into.

I'm leveling a cleric at the moment, so I'll give it a shot. This will be tested on the Innouathole (sp) server.

Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly but I'm pretty sure if you accept the betreyal quest you cannot level up past level 17 or so

That would be my guess too.

Well has anyone tried it to prove the theory. I know you are not supposed to lvl past 17 to get the quest. But can you cont the quest if you lvl past 17? That is the question.

i took the quest and lvled past 17 dont know if its a bug or i did something wrong

its my understanding, along with others, that once you startthe betrayal quest it is impossible to lvl past 17. I have had 2 fp->qeynos alts do it...each stopping xp at 17. One maxed out on xp, another not. so........yea.
