Mentoring someone in another zone. : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Recent patches have disallowed the use of using the mentoring trick in solo zones, or in zones where the player who is being mentored upon cannot enter. This is because they have removed the option to unmentor a player if they are not in the same zone. I was wondering whether there is a simple chat line command to mentor a player (similar to /invite [player])? If so, that would be an easy work around, provided SOE have not done more than simply disable the menu option.

On it, but so far Im not finding anything.

try /disband to unmentor in a dif zone

Nice thing I have been doing is camping level 10 alt in RV...
Then with my level 50 I have been mentoring a guildmate in another zone...
Leaving the guildmate in the other zone and going to RV with my level 10...mentor down to level 47ish with 10 in group and I get to kill Blightwhip, Tarvol, etc...and get the loot...
Blightwhip is up so much it's pathetic on my server.
Can kill shaky too...
Can do this anywhere named are common...
