Cast posses minion , after you return to your avatar dismiss the pet by casting another pet , your pet will remain rooted to the ground , then cast pet again u will have two , you can make as many as u want, plus if u are by a mob that aoes the rooted pets that u made will attack.

What do you mean "after you return to your avatar" is that like when the control effect wears off?

Also if you have "protect me" on will the multiple pets attack if you get hit and are the pets rooted all the time so your mobs would have to be pulled to them for them to attack (unless mage pet)?

yes after the spell wears off , (returning to avatar), also the become unrooted if something hehe or someone attacks them, if u can talk somebody into attacking them everyone that you summon will attack them

also the pbaoe has to hit the pet or this wont work , so only good for caster mobs , or epics : ) , best thing is when u cant talk a player into attacking them ,, funny to watch them drop so quick.

Ive tried it many different ways but it hasnt worked for me so far. I have my pet up, posess him, let it wear off(have also canceled it) than click on a new pet but it totaly dismisses him and when i recast him its just the new pet..

are u hitting dismiss pet or while your pet is up just trying to cast a new pet after spell wears off, you need to cast summon pet spell to dismiss

1. Posess your minion.
2. When nearing the expiration of posession, Jump.

Spell expires with pet in the "floating in the air" result.

I haven't been able to get it to work as descriped in the first post but will try again with the "jump" in it. Will try at lunch time and post back today.
