ok .. someone give up the new sploit.. or what the deal is..

Ashen Roots have skyrocketed to like 10-20sp each.. what is the deal with that? any clues?

On my server the market for rare roots is nil so no one bothers to harvest them anymore. So when people put them roots there is never any there so they jack the price up. No supply so the demand goes up thus driving the prices...

Haven't seen or heard of any xploit using ashen roots. I would say that on my server they are also selling at an extortionate price, tho I can still buy them cheap at certain times.

However, there is probably a simple explanation. As a 50 sage, I need ashen roots to make my inks, quills and papers - since I sometimes make 300-500 each of these, I can easily go thru 4000 ashen roots. That usually involves buying every root I can find, including those on the black market. Easy to see why some peeps get greedy and hike up the prices.

I store all my harvested stuff or destroy it. The small profit isn't worth speeding up the competition's progress.

most crafts use insane numbers of roots. Its the most consumed havest by far and people have been buying out the market and putting them up at higher rates. This is whats basically happening on my server now.

There is a tool out there that auto buys from broker selected item/s at a defined price.

not sure if this has been in use here.

As a major harvester, I can tell you I raised my prices on ashen roots to 10s because there seemed to be a good demand for them. I sold out quickly at that price and was able to supply over 6 stacks a day. However, with expansion, I never harvest T5 anymore. Some of my T6 are selling like hotcakes for 1g each though

No exploit just supply and demand, I imagine the price will go up with the servers losing most of the lvl 50's in T5 zones.

You only get 10s50c +/- for each raw when combined in a recipe. So 1g is way too high. Don't waste your coin, go harvest for yourself until the prices come down.

They sell so high because of T5 writs, simple way to macro a guild to he next level cap.
