Old EQ2Crafter 2.3 Discussion : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

That doesn't work either, I get an error for windows then. The program then flashes on the screen too rapid to see the eq2 crafting pane.

Crafter been working well up until last night. I woke up this morning dead, and watched it vigelently today, and I have died 2 more times at the forge. Did you change the logic yesterday?

No change to the crafter, but I've heard from a couple people today that it's even harder to do combines in game.

Sounds like a stealth nerf by SOE.

I havnt logged in today. I'll have to give it a go and see what they changed. Might have to tweak the counter buffs if spamming is causing them to be missed. Also a checkbox to aboort crafting if the player health gets too low.

Sorry if this information is somewhere else, but couldn't find it.
Could playing on a translated server (european) cause the crafter to not work ? Did anyone tested it ?

One thing I noticed yesterday, if I paused the crafting through moving the mouse out of the circle when i continued crafting afterward, it would not spam buffs every cycle like it previously had been when started.

Hello everyone,

New guy here and am obviously making newb mistakes on the EQ2crafter
I downloaded and installed the XUnleashed Client then the EQ2Crafter v2.3. After installing the EQcrafter, launched the Client.

I dont get a window like this so not sure if I am launching the application correctly from the get go.

I get the black GUI with Xunleached across and the play button...
I am at work so doing some of this from memory but I launched EQ2 through the XUnleashed GUI I did get. EQ2 loads and as soon as it logs into and area it crashes. What am I doing wrong?

I am having the same problem.. i dont recieve the crafter window

One problem at a time.

steiner093, make sure you set yoru config to EQ2. Do you know how to bring up plugins? Check your plugins tab to make sure you have the 2.3 version of the crafter installed.


wolfey187, make sure you have installed ALL windows udpates. If you are on windows XP, be sure you have installed SP2. Also, be sure you set yoru config to the EQ2 setting in the config tab of the client.

Guest, you must login before you can download files.

steiner093, also uncheck the TCPIP packet sniffer. IT WILL CRASH EQ2.

Have you maximize the window, or go into full screen (alt+enter).. move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and the XU bar will open.
