hey, im just wondering are items and bags and stuff client side or server side?

looking at the log for linked items

\aITEM -95676486 Prismatic Rod of the Scale:Prismatic Rod of the Scale\/a

each item in the game seems to be asigned a number in this case
-95676486 maybe theres a file to edit what you have in your bags and maybe if you put this number in you can get this item? any ideas?

My thoughts exactly...try pulling that on like....Gravity (Ragnarok Online). That was actually a bug for a while :?

Well... I dunno. I'm going to try using the logfile to get the Item ID for a few different things in my inventory tonight and see what changing them around and examining them does. The server seems to surrender examine info on command (linked items - need I say more?) so examining an item with a spoofed ID might prove fruitful.

explained elsewhere- but theres 2 different sets of ID numbers- one is the one you see in the link, which is a link to a generic item database. The other is a database is ID numbers dynamicly assigned to each item in the game. This is why when you actualy inspect an item, it shows who made it, for example- or why when your traded somthing that the other person had for sale at one time, the price they set for that item is shown when you go to sell it- its tied to that specific item. The second ID number requires more advanced retrival than simply looking at a log file or link.
