Tradeskill Exploit : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

I have made 1 gold in about 10 minutes using this method. BUT, it has totally drove up the market and can't be used as frequently anymore.
Anyhow...

Go to the tradeskill quest-giver... she'll tell you to collect 15 items of X.
For me, X = tuber strands, average pelts, minerals, etc. and rewards me with 12 silver.

As soon as I get the quest, I turn around to the broker and look for people selling that item... if it's being sold for 60 coppers or less, I buy. DING... quest item found. so I buy all 15, turn around and sell back to quest-giver for 12 silver. Get another quest, buy from broker, and turn in for another 12 silver.

The only problem with this is that in the beginning the market hads TONS of cheap items... but I used this method so much that all the cheap items are usually gone (sorry guys). So, I just keep checking every 10-15 minutes to see if some idiot is selling X for less than 60 coppers.

By the way... this exploit might have been mentioned b4, but I made it up myself without any help.

This also levels up your trade society and raises your rank in the society. I don't think this means anything right now, but hopefully eventually it will be more meaningful

My 4 characters are all in the top 10 rankings.

Welp its not 12 Silver any more, they nurfed it. Its now 3s.

3s is for tier 1 items,I just recieved 12s for severed maple

I am on Oasis, and 1 sullied medium animal pelt costs 1s to 2s. So buying 15...... is a total loss=(

Thats what I was saying... I totally drove the market up.

When I first started there was an ABUNDENCE of cheap items... now it's all 1 silver, etc.

Best time to do this is right after the peak playing times of your server. Everyone does their play session then goes into vendor mode to sell off their excess stuff - you can find lots of cheap stuff at these times.

Also, obviously, tier 1 resources are easier to find. But since you can only do these quests if you are under level ten, it might be worth it to have a low level mule to use for this.
