What happened to dupes? : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

As both a new player to EQ2 and a new member to this site I have been reading through a lot of material lately. I have heard about the dupes programs but unable to find it any longer on taultunleashed.

My question therefore is what happened to them? Did they not work, were they easily detected thereby getting accounts banned and just not worth the risk. Any insight would be appreciated.

You could dupe items verry early in the game.. About 2 years ago. You didnt need a program, it was an exploit, which have been fixed verry long time ago.
