X-unleashed running eq2 - Conflict with x-fire : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Ive knowticed while running xunleashed. eq2, and xfire at the same time, will cause EQ2 to crash if i Alt+tab or go into Windowed mode. I was wondering if anyone else had the problem, and if so, has anyone found a fix. Reformatted 3 times since ive discoovered the possible bug, so i dont think its my computer.

Im running the equnleashed service, eq2 radar, crafter bot, and harvest bot, tryed disableing all of the above to no success. I rely on x-fire to chat with friends, and see if i have matches coming up on cs, let me know if you have a fix.

What is XFire? Is it a comm tool that draws on the game surface?

Xfire is like yahoo messenger or aim, its used to communicate. However x-fire is designed for gamers, it allows you to chat in game, my guess is through a direct x hook of some sort, ill post the log error im getting in a few

those logs look to me kinda like the ones i'm getting

but i'm not running xfire or radar...

what is your setup vsee?

My guess is it uses a hook like XU and fraps does and hence makes them incompatible.

got any suggestions on mine wyv? since that machine isn't running anything except winXPpro and EQ2 and XU

hmm looks like a bug on x-fire side, they released a patch and everything works fine now, thanks for taking knowtice to the thread wyv
