ok very simple im sure you have all heard of it but here it is

1 num lock and sprint
2 type /quit
3 come right back in ASAP!!
4 last but not least run the OPPOSITE way thay you had before you typed /quit

it brings you back to where you typed /quit from but to the other person you were still sprinting away and they will b all :?:  :?:

hrmm, sounds interesting. Also sounds plausable, but i thought you were locked out of logging back in until your char has fully logged its self out.

As with most posts I think it could have been written clearer, but your right naz it does take the time to sync with server before you can re-enter. I think that's what the poster meant with the 'ASAP'. I don't play on PVP but I have done this a few times in PVE and it has worked with mobs.

i think this is kinda pointless.... what if they have arrows? or a horse? you will come back to the world dead.

or what if you hit a rock/tree/ or any other obstacle as you are running on [num lock]

plus your sprint will run out quick... then your screwed

the best way to get away from someone = speedhack... i really dont know of other ways.

I've only done this on PvE so it might be different on PVP but I have effectively survived by doing /quit and entering back without any problems.

hey im sorry.... i spoke to soon, i tried it today...

running from 3 oranges on pvp... i type /exit
immideatly click play on xunleashed, it loads up everquest2.exe (faster than loading from eq2.exe), i log back in, and the whole group is infront of me...

awesome exploit man!!!

yea but when you type /QUIT you can come right back in because you havent gone Ld yur still in teh server and it lets you right back in and because u had just started to sprint when you typed /quit your sprint would be on and your power would be full still

also note that they changed the lock out because you went ld you have 10 minutes to get back in and on other peoples screens you are still moving untill you go ld (at the end of the 5 minutes)

if you load with everquest2.exe you can go straight to the login screen, and just sit there for about 5 minutes... or till you think that area is clear... apparently it exits you out of the world as soon as you log into the character select screen.... plus loading with everquest2.exe instead of eq2.exe makes it WAY faster..... i counted it yesterday... from /quit to the login screen it was about 20 seconds for me... SATA2 RAID helps on load times ^^...

somewone give this guy prem for this ^^
this is the best way to run away from a pvper that i know of...

it is untill you get to the character select screen... then it auto logs you out...
so load with everquest2.exe and not eq2.exe to make it faster

try it you can go right back in (well after it loads but once you log in you dissapear from every1 screen) and (my fave) is if you do it near a cliff so they think you jumped so they go the long way down but you come in and ur up top lol
