check for npc in zone : EverQuest 2 Submissions

I origionally posted this on xunleaded.com as razorwire

known exploit but you may not know it. I didn't discover this one

/ponder

if you use this emote and then attach enough of a npc's name to make it unique from any other npc the game will return one of two responces

Character ponders
or
Character ponders NPC

if the second one is returned then the npc has spawned

ie if hunting hte lightbringer wisp

/ponder light

will tell you if the lightbringer wisp is up

/ponder rama
will tell you about rama'nai

etc, the only problem you will run into is if you have not set enough of the name to be unique

/ponder r

will return the first npc with a name beginning with r

Already posted under miniscouting, and again by me not knowing that it had been posted before

/shrug wasn't my find and so really I shouldn't get credit but just wanted to make sure the good word was out.
