Farming Level 50 Masters (Tank and Healer) : EverQuest 2 Submissions

Here is a little trick I learned from a guildmate.

You must have the Splitpaw Adventure pack to do this.

The heroic version of the arena has a very nice chance to drop a master for the difficulty it is. Some say its a 1 in 4 chance to drop a master when you do it.

I am a 50 Paladin that groups up with a friend 50 Templar and farms this zone for masters. So far we have gotten two masters in just six tries!! Not bad huh? Now I bet your thinking, wtf? How the hell do they pair the arena succesfully?

All you have to do is mentor a level 47 character, zone in, unmentor, and kick him or have the level 47 person disband. (You need to do the normal arena of course.) You can mentor a level 48 as well but this makes things a bit harder. DO NOT MENTOR ANYONE LOWER THAN 47! If you do you will NOT get a chest at the end and will have wasted lots of time. This only applies if you are both 50 of course. I don't know the lowest level you can mentor for other levels b/c my friend and I are 50. I would recommend a level 47 toon to mentor.

Now all you do is buff up and pair the arena. Everything is easy since they are a lot lower level than you are. The spider can be a pain but isn't that bad. The longest and most tedious part is The Murk. He casts 2 complete heals on himself during the fight. Odds are you won't be able to burn your way through any of them b/c of the lack of dps in a duo group. So just conserve power and take him down through his ch's. After his 2 ch's he will just be a regular hack and slash mob to kill.

All the mobs after that are cake. Once your done spawn the chest and cross your fingers for a master to drop.

No master? Thats okay, you can try again in just 90 minutes! I know there are some drawbacks with this. Like you can only duo it if you are a tank and healer. However, this is a pretty damn nice and easy way to farm a master and get some major plat! Or get yourself some masters and make yourself UBZOR!!!
