30 Day Free Trial/Buddy Trial : FFXI General Discussions

I used to play FFXI near its initial release, and went back to it again several years ago, but have since stopped playing. Now that FFXIV is soon to be released, I would like to revisit the game I once enjoyed, however I would like to be able to do it free if possible; wouldn't everyone ^^?. I understand the buddy pass only lasts for 30 days, but that would be enough for me. If anyone has recently purchased the game, or has a buddy pass they have not used, I am asking you to please email/message me the code. I know this may be a lot to ask for some of you, but I am hoping there is that one person out there that just had no one to give it to, hehe. Thank you all for your time.

Does FF11 have a trial for it by just joining? I thought they did.
