a question : FFXI General Discussions

So I have new CC# to use and im curious if i was to make a new account would they still track me down and also which info do they use for that sort of thing.

they use all info. cc is a valid way to track people but so is the billing address or signup address ^^

Interesting I really would like to play again because I have friends and family who play. Am I allowed to set it at a different address such as my dads house.

Your probably not going to get banned just because you used the same info, they may watch your account more closely, but it ends there. I don't see why you couldn't use different information if your uneasy using information from your previous account.

Well I have had 2 accounts, the first was banned for cheating which I accepted the punishment for and moved on. When I made my second account I wanted to make sure I wouldn't do anything to make me regret it later but yet I had looked over something most likely they matched my CC with my previously banned account, and told me I was banned to due to evading my last ban. This is the reason I am being so uneasy about using the same info don't wanna get to high lvl then lose it again >.<

ouch, that sucks. Thats the first time ive ever heard of SE banning a customer just for using the same CC as on an account that was banned for illegal activity. Might be best to use all different information then.

Yes it does, considering that they made sure they charged me before they banned me. It would make sense if they just banned CC numbers so they couldn't be reused >.< well thanks I got the answers I was looking for.

unfortunatly you can not change the billing information. for the charge to go through it has to go to the place it was signed up to so if you wanted to use a cc but have the info at your dads house and your cc was to your house you would have to have a cc with his house as the information with it.....confused myself with that. to be charged your billing information has to be the same as the cc, if it is diffrent the charge wont go through. this is why i use visa gift cards because they easy to use

It's not actually a "Credit Card" I just say CC cuz its easy to type its actually a Debit Card that you have to go to the store and buy cards when you wanna put more money on it. with this I can have 2 billing addresses actually. I can also change the main billing address anytime I chose too so the address doesn't seem to pose a big problem.
