Any way to get unband? : FFXI General Discussions

I'm guessing the answer is probaly no, but gonna ask the question any how.

I previously had my account suspended for movement hacks (POS/Flee). So the 3 day suspension was over I told the GM I deleted the programs and didn't hack for about two months. Then I started to get lazy and figured what the hell if I don't flee or pos through the zone too fast I wont throw any of the so called flags to the server (the unable to enter next are thing when u pos through a whole area or super flee then try to zone).

So here's the thing i didnt really use the hacks that much to get around, but last night i was lazy leveling drk in Quifm hp was set at the OP by the tower. So, I think !@#$%^* whats the harm im gonna pos to Jeuno and go to sleep. Get up the next day I find my self DCed. Log back on nothing... Gm call rude GM Lumorios or some thing answers. I basically lie my !@#$%^* of and say I didnt have the programs on my pc any more. He more or less hangs up on me after telling me that my account is temp suspended wait 3 days blah blah blah... I mean i didnt even get a chance to talk to the damn dude to find out how the hell i got caught. I'm baffeled how the hell do they know if ur hacking if u dont throw a flag to the server for zoneing to fast?

Any how sorry for the wall of text.

One day after the GM tells me Im suspended I log into pol for the hell of it and I see the LM-11 message (pol has closed your account please contact info center for further instructions.)

I spent over two years playing this game. I Had a lvl 75 with alot of rare/ex. gear a 64 that I was working on; semi high level crafting may subjobs leveled. Almost 300 days worth of play time. Rank 10 half way through Cop all Toau missions done sky acess ect.

This was only my second offence why the hell would they ban me and lose
15 dollors a month?

Im pissed off and I don't know what to do so i figured the only logical thing to do was post here.

Is there a way to get your account back after you are band.?

Also am I the only one that thinks baning people for this is not a good way to fix the problem? Why don't they just do some thing to the software so ppl cant flee or pos warp any more and not ban ppl that have spent a good few years playing this damn game ,and coughing up 15 bucks a month to do so? They sure as hell have the power to nerf the hell out of every thing else and make it suck, why this?

You took the risk of getting banned the second you downloaded those programs, and unfortunantly, you got caught.

This really reminds me of when I got banned from Runescape, Maple Story, Knight Online, and Diablo II.... Everytime I got banned for a game for cheating (Only cheated when the game got boring) my friend would come up to my ear and scream, "PWNED !@#$%^*!!!!!" And then we would laugh... But I feel bad for you.....

Sucks man, best thing to say that you should move on to another game, or life. And wait till another game to come out or play some RPGs or games that game out in the past two years that you have never found the time to play.

And just cuz I noticed it and its been bothering me... You misspelled something in the title of this....

"Band" > "Banned"

I have to say - it's entirely possible SE flag you for *any* abnormal movement. The "zoning error" is just one visible form of this.

mmm I'm very happy you got caught and got banned, if you didn't notice, everytime before you log into the game, you agreed to the rules and the TOS, so now you want back in? mmm sorry no remorse or pity for you at all.

^ scratch that, but on another note, I have no sympathy whatsoever for people who use 3rd party programs or cheats in this game; this issue has been blown so wide open I'm not even going to start it up.

Therefore, if you are one of those that are caught botting, speed hacking, POSing or whatever, RMTing even, then you pretty much deserve all the consequences and then some more.
