If you are then I'm in need of major help here!

Basically, I recently bought an imported US Playstation just for RPG games (UK RPG titles suck and US and JAP get the best ones!!) I haven't bought FFXI yet but I was hoping that someone else from the UK is already up'n'running! :?

If so, is there anything special I need to do (register somewhere, etc) and will the FFXI software recognise my AOL broadband account, based in the UK or does it only accept US ISP's??

Cheers all,

Yes the game does work in the UK as I am British myself and have been on since 1st of April. I use NTL which is also British ISP so I can't see how there would be a problem. The book tells you how to register, but you will have to put a US address for your resgistered account details as it won't accept British address. But for the Credit card, it does accept British details, don't ask why it just does O_o I hope this helps, good luck. PS: Try to get on Bismarck as I'm the only Brit there :( ;)

Some say PC some say PS2. The PC is more compatable with US format, its upto you, but as you can tell by this forum, the PC version is more fun and editable

Hmmmm.... I'm not sure! I guess I need to ask around to see if it is actually possible to link from the PS2 without too much drama!

Any PS2 owners out there???
