Coral Fragments, where? : FFXI General Discussions

Anybody knows where the best place to get it after the last updates?

I tried fish for 24h in the normal places:

LoO: 0

SSG: 1

Korrokola: seems to be the best place till now, 18

Purgonoro Island: 2

Anyway, I see in @ FFXIAH.com lots of ppl coming with corals from SSG (cos same ppl sell Bastore Breams too, and SSG its the only place where you can fish both), but even with 10 char I dont think its possible to get 5 stacks per day like they are getting.

Maybe im fishing in the wrong spot (im fishing in the pond, under the bridge).

So anyone have any good spot?

i use to always fish them in loo with lu shang and little worm im pretty sure that only some of the ponds have them. circled area on the map where i fished

Oh, thanks for the reply, but you fished in there after the last updates? cos I tried LoO and got 0 corals in 24 of fishing .

no i haven't fished there in awhile like over a year lol

Umm im getting 9 stacks a day, but i have 2 level 100 fisher accounts and also they are level 75 job ....

Where i fish muahahaha ill keep that on me...

Dude do your homework, before asking, its easy to come here and ask but have you tried searching first?

Step One: Find a site related to fishing, for example finalfishing.com

Step Two: see in what locations you can catch coral

Step Three: see what bait or lure can catch coral

Step Four: do your tests in different places different lures.

OR you can skip all and come here and simply ask... problem is an easy get, saves you the time and the effort so you don't value the time we take to get all that info, then if you are a gil seller you will go to the AH and kill the coral price at the point that my research will become worthless and pointless.

Coral Fragments can be fished on Korroloka Tunnel, best lure ive used that is giving me best results its rogue rig, lucky i have gsmithing high enough to make them, it shares the same item id as rusty pick so when you use a bot aim for rusty picks and coral fragments.

Now, every time there is an update i come here and post the selected item count pointer in order to CTS Work, maybe is a little thing for some but a big thing for others, ive shared enough info here, what have you?

just a FYI to everyone who fishes in KOT for coral. One of my account that I use to fish only has been banned earlier today and it is not a lvl 1 char. ; ;

owell, I guess I need to find alternative way to get gil.

I did my homework, read my post again, I fished in everyplace (beside Den of Rancor) and put my results online, best I got was in Korrokola Tunnel as I said.

But I know ppl are getting best results from SSG, but I tried every god damn pond and didnt get best result.

And im really sure SSG is the place, a rapid check in FFXIAH.com show that ppl who are getting lots of coral stacks are selling a few stacks of breams too, and only place you can fish both its SSG.

im telling you im getting them from Korroloka and i only get coral and rusty picks that i trow away... that's it.

And your right didnt saw the full post and attacked first, my bad, my apologies, i was angry that day cuz some dam gil seller trow the price from 250k to 90k making my fishing worthless and i thing i exploded here. sorry T.T.

Maybe the fishing level has something to do, like i told you i have 2 chars level 100 fishing, i tried with a level 1 getting only 11 in a period of 18 hours, also have overwhelming moghacement fishing in my mog.

No problem man, sorry too, I acted like a !@#$%^* too, everybody have bad days, specially playing against rmts XD.

And thanks for the tip, I will try Korrokola Tunnel using rigs, I was using minnow before.

Thx guys for the info - any special place in Korroloka? Or any water will do? I've always fished them up in LoO but they nerfed it in the Feb update (tried to catch them for 1 hr - 0 catches..;(

Also tried fishing them in SSG - 0 catches.
