double claim? : FFXI General Discussions

So i was camping agianst rmt on mee deggi. It pops rmt get there first, i trail behind my log says i vok but cant attack they proceed to fight it. Like a sucker i watch and when mee deggi blew him self up i got hurt!?! maybe we both got claim but they got to attack first?

I guess this may have happen before, i remeber reading somthing about this long long ago, was wondering if any one knew what happened?

this same thing happened to my party at Lord of Onzozo against the gil sellers. 5 members of my alliance landed vokes, stuns, and shadow binds. While 2 different gil seller groups landed vokes stuns and charms. We seen Loo claimed for us for like 1 second and then it went purple and we couldnt do anything except get hit with aoe.

its not who attack first gets the claim anymore. when u do anything to the mob, it has chance to stay yellow now. then only the person that builds the most hate afterwards will get it red claim.

was it hit with a AOE WS as it was popping by somone?
