FFXI Cheats and what not : FFXI General Discussions

Hello all, i'm new to this board and i must say there is some very interesting information on here. It makes me just want to mess around. And also sitting watching the GS out do everything and the GM's do nothing makes me realize the only way to beat them is to join them.

My question is... How do they go about banning?

Do they ban ip? Accounts? all accounts on one credit card?

I would like to set up a new account, maybe leech off the neighbors wifi, just to play around with.

Can someone help a newb out?

im pretty sure they just ban accounts, however it is possible they record your IP and CC and watch future accounts running under those more closely.

They also ban every account per credit card. Found out the hard way.

I was also told that they may flag your credit card number, as well as mailing address, phone number, etc... It's hearsay, but I'm still expecting to get slapped with another ban sooner or later even though I don't use cheats anymore, lol.

I can't get into any other mmo, sadly. I tried to get into WoW, no luck, and Dark Age, again no luck... I find that most of them turned out very ugly in the end and I quit before my free trial is over.

Less your game is free? lol
