FFXI Mod Position Contest : FFXI General Discussions

Contest is over Kioto is your new FFXI mod

We are holding an official Contest for the Mod Position on Tault.com's FFXI Sections. If you are intersted in being a mod please post a reply as to why. Keep in mind that premium and no premium members have this ability. On Friday Fedbruary 20th 2004 at 12am pst the contest will end. Then the current mods and myself will discuss who we feel shows the best potential. That users will be notified sometime the following monday. Well enjoy and good luck to all.

Mod responsibilities are as follows:
- Removing Foul Language form users.
- Suspending Users based on ill actions.
- Keeping posts flowing for the current area.
- Creating a Topic of the Week for the area.
- Helping Others in the FFXI sections if needed.
- And avid poster.

Mod perks are as follows:
- Lifetime membership as long as they are a mod.
- Ability to be sent in exploits for users wanting to join.
- Thier own (name)@tault.com email address.
- Ability to give members premium access based on your decessions.

i've been here as an avid poster and i try to disourage the use of falsified information. i've posted numerous guides and have submitted a couple of macros myself, as well as helped numerous people w/ problems they encounter.

the choice is yours to choose me or not, but either way, i'm sticking by this community

If the mod spot is about contributions as in macros and such i might not outstand others due to the fact i have brought only a few working macros and helped other people (macro's wise) only a few times.

But i have alot of experience with web design. i hold 2 full sites at the moment, one of which is mine and both use phpbb. i have close to full knowledge with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS. phpNuke, post nuke, phpbb, anything web related (wenservers, mail server) are included.

Back when Warcraft 3 came out and was big, i was GodAdmin at a huge community site (Register to unlock hidden link) by the name of UnholySoldier.
I did not make the site myself, but i mod'ed it for about half year and made it one of the biggest if not the biggest at its time.

I also have a great idea for this comunity which is 24/7 support over IRC which i can provide/help with if needed. I have delt with IRC for over 3 years.

I wanna be a moderator! Wahh! I have a great exploit that is kinda cheap. You start a trade with somebody and put up all your gil (10000 or so). Then you tell the other person to put up some good items and when thier done press accept. When they do press accept you change the gil being traded of yours to 0 real fast and press ok. This will work with most people as they are so excited they forget to look a the gil when they reaccept the trade thus getting you tons of free sometimes VERY valuable items. I have gotten over 15k of gil from doing this in a day.
