Fishing bots : FFXI General Discussions

I've recently returned to FFXI and now I see there are like 2-3 bots, 2 being the ones that are most advertised. The XUFish and the XIFish, one is a standalone and one needs exume and the service I believe. My question is how does one stand up versus the other and which one is best when comparing features, stability and which has the most risk of detectability.

If anyone who is or has used both could compare and give me some input before I reactivate my account on the first I would really appreciate it.

xufish is great for its ability to be completely customizable. it can do almost anything as long as you can code. if you just want something which is click and go go with xifish.

I use the fish bot ffxifisher.net when i can get my husband's pc (hes on xp) but when i can't i'd like to fish bot on vista (my pc) any bots work with vista? I haven't found one yet... thanks

How exactly do these fishing program work, because from what i know Square Enix finds these out very quickly and i really dont wanna get caught because i would like to fish bot on my main character and if that gets cancled then i am screwed . Also do i have to be a premium member to download the programs, because i am only allowed to go into some forums not them all.

@waitingshadow, i'm uploading XiFish for Vista.. had to make a couple of tweaks, but it is working.. I'll post to the XiFish thread.
