Ok heres the deal, I am very interested in purchasing a subscription to the site so that I have access to all of the amazing things that it seams you guys present here... But I have a few concerns, and I am hoping that someone is willing to give me a good explination of what I am asking given the new fishing system.

First of all I am not a coder at all and it seams that this is something that is important with using your software? Would I be able to run the fishing bot if I don't have any coding skills?

Second of all, does the fishing bot support the new fishing system? I have seen 2 fish botters on my server since the change and I am interested in perhaps seeing if this XUnleashed fishing bot can handle the new system? Could someone please explain to me in dpeth how it works, or even send me to a link where I could read about it. This is my prime concern I don't wanna download a bot that only works on the previous system, I want it to work on the new system. And I was hoping you all could tell me some of the advantages and disadvantages.... Also if it does not work yet, when do you believe that you will have a fully functional sytem ready?!

I appreciate your help very much so, and I hope to hear from someone knowledgable soon. Thankyou

Except for the fact I can code, basically I was wondering the details on how well it currently works with new fishing system and if you forsee it working even beter in the future.

I'm kinda vauge on how Xunleashed works... I'm presuming a memory hack program that works with VB Scripting. I'm willing to learn a new syntax vs ACTools but kinda want to know what I'm getting into.

From my experience you can use the fish bot with out any programming skills pretty easy to set up, imo. The instructions are very detailed; if you want to get the most out of the bot it helps to know some programming so you can customize it. You can find help all over this website. After the 2/23/05 update there is only a temporally patched up version of the fish bot. works for most low level fishes for me up to level 40 or so. I’m sure they will have a full working version for higher level fishes soon.

Apparently the people who make xunleashed aren't interested in attracting new customers?
Apparently the people who make xunleashed aren't interested in attracting new customers?
In what way? You've been informed of the current situation. There is a fishing bot that requires no scripting knowledge available but it's not fully functional after the feb 23rd update, it'll be functional again soon enough, it hasn't even been a week since the patch yet. (Fyi, stuff like fish weight, rod position and such has been found by the XU team already, just waiting for them to update now.)

Anyway, XUnleashed supports VBScript, JScript, PerlScript and LUAScript. All languages that are far easier than what I've seen from ACTools.

Hey thanks I appreciate the help asl! Hey when do you think the full update could be potentially ready? Also I am pre med major so I have ZERO time to learn programming! FF11 is my only free time... Can I use it effectively without this programming knowledge?

Well, for XUFish which I'm the creator of I intend for it to be fully usable by anyone who can read. The can read might be a problem though (I mean, fail to read the documentation at all) but if you're a med student I doubt you'll have many problems.

However, I also have another policy and that is giving power to the user. XUFish can be used to do some damn nice stuff (fighting monsters, zoning, sneak fishing) and these features require some scripting knowledge.

Ok that sounds good... I like that you give the potential to make things work for you. Thats the kind of thing that sounds real good to me.

Now when do you think a fully working version will be up and running?

Ok one more quick question I am curious if without having programming knowledge, if perhaps I should go with a freeware bot?

Lol, I would tell you go try your freeware bot. And when you get tired of trying to configure it or find that it doesnt catch fish except half of the time... you'll be back.

XUFish is designed to run without any editing of the scripts and will catch fish (for me atleast at a 99% rate) with very good success.

Ok Honest Oppinion.... * Hopes it doesn't get me in trouble *

XU comes complete with script you can download, usable as is and upgradable. (For a Melee class even worthwhile fighting as is)

XU has a developer team and is pretty much on the ball.

VBS scripting isn't too hard to pick up if you have had one programming class. Actually both of them fall under that catagory.

I purchased XU personally cause I don't have the skillz to hack memory and other 3rd party apps ppl that do have been out to lunch as of yet and the fact I enjoy learning.

BTW is there a scripting gui I can use for VBS, NOTEPAD SUCKS~!

I am new to this forum and I would like to know if this bot will craft any fish up item and engage any mob that will aggro via fish up or aggro (link, like in quifim area).

Can I leave this on over night and not risking any death?

Ok thanks for the info... So it looks like I will just have to compare a bit and then deicde... And actually the freewarebot I was using was on another site so it was neither of the two you guys refrenced... Also, they don't currently have a bot for the new system there either.
