Gardening - When to Examine? : FFXI General Discussions

So my friends decided to take up gardening and I'm trying to help him out by developing a guide so to speack for him. I havent Gardened in over 6 months so I've misplaced most my sources. However I've already resourced most sites and this one and recovered most of it, but I seemed to have lost track of one source.

Awhile back I remember reading something about how and when to examine your crystals based off of what the Moogle tells you. Its something to deal with the amount of that element in the pot, but I cant seem to locate the Post regarding. If someone can either send me a PM the Info or Post it for me youd be greatly helping me out.

if you examine on say firesday 5 days in a row that would be too much fire element for trying to grow a say fire ore every few days you would want to check on the opposite element say ice in this case to not build up too much elemental strength in the plant hope that helps
