Good Repeatable Quests? : FFXI General Discussions

Since FFXI screwed up the rolanberry quest and making new characters for the scroll quests...is there a better quest to make gil?

I just came back after a year and I'm broke! Please let me know of a good decent way to make some gil by questing or any "secret methods", PMs welcome.

Out of interest what did they do to the scroll quests? I knew they nerfed the berry one.

could give old man in selby corn til u get enough fame then do warp and tele quest thats all i can think of

One of the easiest but however somewhat time consuming is the black tiger fang hunts in Batailla Downs. You need to kill Tigers for their fangs and trading 4 fangs = 2,100g from a Elvaan in southenr sandys around E-7/8.

I usually go 1-2 fangs on each kitty at least drop rate is very high for fangs and also drop hiides which sell 800-900g to NPC.

Another pretty unusal camp is the Toraimoai Canal where a mob called Gurtub spawns roughly every 10-15mins sorta like the old jelly in Gustav Tunnel. This scorpion drops viking axe worth 30-40k each on my server and can easily make good cash if /THF.

I think for ninja scroll quests there is a level requirement now or something, I could be wrong, but the warp and stuff is still the fame i believe.
