Hello! : FFXI General Discussions

Hi everyone, i was wondering, do you guys find FF XI exciting? if so, why? i was looking to buy this game, and it seems very fun, alot of good graphics, but i have a 56k modem, MSN internet, im not sure that it wuill work on my comp. any suggestions or comments? or will the game work if i have the PS 2 installment? im j/w, cuz i seriously want this game, but my comp isnt that good. thank you, PM me if u can if u can detail some things for me, thanks.

I was in the same boat. I have a 500 MHZ comp and didn't think it would push the game, so i got the PS2 version until I update my Comp. I would highly suggest get cable though, even then it still lags at the heavily populated areas. It is an awesome game!!! I am so addicted, I need Final Fantasy II Anomoyous.....ROTFL

well, i am finding this game fun, been playing ever since i joined TAULT. Now im a lvl 40blm/whm ^^. Anyways reguarding the 56k, i highly sugguest you get cable or DSL. i Reccomend cable, cheaper, faster (in my opinion), and more reliable. Its exiting from the fact that you have to work with other people to become powerful yourself. You arent boxed in to one thing. you can solo with Beast Master, but besides that theres alot of socialization in this game. Thats what makes it fun to me. You work together with people you hardly know at first, but then you become awsome in-game pals. I have about 120 people on my friends list ^^. And the Linkshell i am currently in has alot of people too. anyways, yea the game gets fun , i mean fun past lvl 30.
