Kirin : FFXI General Discussions

For those that go to Kirin and always end up at the Pot room endless times. .
Your LS gets mad at you for taking so long. So here's a tip:

Whenever you are going to Kirin, use the teleporter on an even time such as:
12:04, 1:10 etc. This enables you to reach Kirin 100% without fail.

Trick is to go onto the teleport halfway through an odd time and warp, because by the time you get the command to warp it'll already be on an even time.

Yea, this works most of the time, but if you have a laggy computer then your pretty much outta luck.

Yea, lag always sucks during moments like that.

I once lost lot on a Behe's tongue due to lag >_>;

Take the door on the right side as opposed to the left. The one that leads to Olla Grande. Go north once inside the first teleported (south goes to Olla). The next teleporter takes you to kirin room. I don't even worry about even/odd time here. Yes it takes a minute longer to walk there but thats only if you get the time portal right on the first try.

Actually, its every ODD not EVEN.

Seems random for me, sometimes it works when I go to the teleporter on an odd and sometimes on an even.
