if anyone has a world pass for another please let me know.
i would like to change server because Asura's economy is so screwed up. if anyone knows a good server i could go to let me know thanks

Just want to make sure to tell you that if you migrate via world pass you lose everything and have to start from scratch! If you're okay with this go for it but otherwise you may want to rethink such a rash decision. I've also wanted to migrate but worldpass is not an option for me because I don't want to start all over from scratch, it's taken me a year to get where I am now >.<. The only time you can migrate and take everything with you is when there is a specific load-balancing migration which probably won't happen for quite some time.

actially iv heard of them offering troublesome players migrateion. For example if you have a bad rep for something amybe not your fault and they get diff complaints about you that are not true ect. ect. they will offer option to switch server.

i do agree with the whole world pass thingy. i have been playing for a year and really don't have a whole lot to show cept for the lved jobs i have and cooking skill lvl 23 >< my jobs are war54 nin 31 monk 23 sam 22 drk 15 rdm 11 brd 09 whm 6 blm 4 that's about all i want to start a more balanced char than an elvaan because i want every job on one char instead of 2 or 3 for that matter and i definetely don't want to be on asura anymore i don't think simple items like the emp hairpin are worth 1 mil, that's just overdone, heck the leeping boots are up to 800k and who get's that kinda money honestly <not buying gil>. plus i've just gotten bored with my current job and like i said i wanna have the option to have all on 1 char.

Well I can tell you that Ifrit is a little better, not much but a little. Most of the gil sellers on our server only go after certain mob that have tiny pop areas making it possible for normal players to get at things like the Emperor's Hairpin and Leaping Boots. Most every servers economy has gone to hell in the last 6 mos or so. Just recently I noticed that fire crystals went from 2k a stack to 4-4.5k a stack on our server. ;_;

I would agree with RileyRat that all the economies have gone to hell in a handbasket over the last several months (PS2 and Europe have contributed to the demand for items) and it doesn't look like they are going to be able to get it under control.

To this point, I have to say that I have never "bought" gil and i have both the emp pin and leaping boots (both purchased in the last 3 months). Don't underestimate the amount of money you can make fishing and synthing! You can become very "rich" by crafting, you just have to have the patience to do it.

I would do alot of research on servers before you make a decision as to which server you move to, if you move at all. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. You may infact be moving to economy that is much worse then your current server, then the odds of you finding another way to switch server again are pretty much out the window. Just be sure to do your homework.

I agree you should consider switching servers. If you have a concern about the economy it will be the same on each server. It may be true some items seem super high in price, but due to the inflation on that server you will also be able to make an equally high amount of money.

For instance back a while ago Bat cape was 200k and tree cuttings were 1.5k. Now tree cuttings are almost 10k each and the bat cape is 1.8 million. So if you used to farm tree cuttings in essence you would still be earning just as much money.

I will say the one thing which would suffer from this is fishing and NPCing all of the fish. Then again if everyone moves to a non inflated server it will wind up being the same.

-- On a side note, prices have also gone up with the disapperance of gil sellers. With the disappearance of them prices have gone up as many of the farmed items no longer have many people farming them or sales compeition. Inflation is ok as long as it is constant. Stop the influx and its horrid.

I will get you a world pass for titan if you want it plus my linkshell is recruiting so if it makes you feel any better leaping boots here are about 500k and emp hairpin is not near 1mil so reply to this topic if you want a world pass (2k for one is no big deal)

hey thanks selmordm after thinking about all that you guys have said, it's not the inflation, farming, gilseller's that discourage me. it's more that i think i'm bored with elvaan. for the most part i came to asura when i started b/c my RL friends were on this server but i kinda just want to be on my own. i don't want to feal like i have to compete with friends on a game. and seeing as how they are 60-75 and my char on asura is stuck at 54 war/nin, i feal i am loosing.. i just want that clean slate so to speak... i doubt anyone knows what the heck i'm talking about but anyways. i'm not deleting my character's i'm not that dumb, lol. just want to try something new and i will repay any world pass money used if you want just gonna have to gimme some time to get it. thanks for all the input and again you guys are right about everything. i think i am just bored with what i am and want something new.

It's everywhere - inflation is on every server. Most people going with the It's Gill seller fault. hmmm. hehe sometimes I laugth at it. I know people not Gill sellers selling things 3-400k over the priceto make easy money to buy something else. I did a servey on it. and I found out that some items like the Kote lv 34 mnk/nin/sam were all sold by normal players, everyone was sold at about 50 to 100k over the first price. The Gill seller or farmer how ever you want to put it. most fo them will stay in area that area minimal to camping. They will farm things hard to get, and usually in group. But everytime someone else came in n need a few Gill, they will sell at higher price to make a few gil.
All I wish SE could do is to make every nm drop Ex or rare/EX this ways you will be walking around NM like it was nothing. Ex. how many people camp for Hornetneedles. Rare/ex drop to spanw another rare/ex drop.
