Making 500k+ for one hour worth of work, guaranteed. : FFXI General Discussions

This is a strategy I have been using for some time which has helped fund my clothcraft from 50-85 and lvling all my subcrafts closer and closer to 60.

What you will be doing is a BCNM20 battle in Giddeus, called Chaming Trio. The bcnm doesn't drop uts<tab>, erase or a peacock charm or any of the well known high priced items. It drops Mannequin Hands, guaranteed, everytime. On my server the hands range from 500k - 1 mil (The most I've ever sold them for atleast). I'm not sure about you, but i'd rather spend just 20 seals on guaranteed money rather than doing a bcnm 40 and praying erase drops on my orb. With this bcnm everybody is getting the drop.

To be successful at this 3 person bcnm, you need 2 DD (Both with provoke) and a whm (or rdm), or a DD, Tank and appropriate mage. I do this bcnm weekly as 2 drgs and a whm and we complete all 3 runs in under an hour not even breaking a sweat.

To prepare for this bcnm the two melee need 9 hi-potions each and 3 au lait. I know this may seem like quite a lot, but it is better to be safe then sorry. I avg using only 2 hi potions per run so buy as many as you want at your own discretion. One melee (DD) should bring appropriate atk food and the other should bring tank food, i recommend boiled crab. Mage's job is easy, 2 rolan pies for mp boost and 6 juices of their choice.

The reason for one melee to bring def. food is because of the basic strategy involved in this bcnm that allows you to win almost every time fairly easily.

Once you zone into the bcnm eat food and rest up mp if needed. One DD (with def. food) will run into all 3 leeches and aggro them, linking them onto himself, and begin to attack the middle leech. The other DD will voke the middle leech, and begin to attack it as well. Linking the other 2 leeches onto the 1st DD allows the whm to cure only having to worry about drawing hate from the middle leech you engaged. It is important for the DD who ran in and drew hate initially to have good defensive/evasive gear and enough hi potions as he will take the bulk of the beating.

After the middle leech is dead move onto the next leech together, only engaging one at a time.

After you complete all 3 runs, warp to jeuno and bazaar or /shout you have them for sale, they can't be put on the AH. The selling price is determined by how well you can bargain with people and i suppose server dependent.

One downside of this bcnm is that mannequin hands are Rare and you can only hold one at a time, so you must sell them before redoing the bcnm.

Why not do KS30 and lucky enough 8-10Mil in 1 run.

Which KS30? and is it 100% i got around 300ks in my mog sitting

It is not 100%, unlucky enough and you can get like 200k or less. Try "Operation desert swarm". V.claw alone is already 7m on my server.

we've done desert swarm a lot in the last week. Turned out to be the biggest profit maker for us compared to other bcnms. Only 1 in 9 runs dropped v.claw; we did have a few runs that made us 100-400k but the claw goes for about 10mil right now. Still waiting for it to sell though. If you are just worried about getting gil and not getting 'lots of gil' fast; I would suggest doing easier bcnms that you can do without using medications and have items that always drop and sell easily. Shooting fish is very easy (bcnm20) ... duo'd it a bunch of times as smn with only using yag drinks and the way it looks, mannequin heads are 100% drop as we got one everytime i have done it so far. Sold within 24hrs for 300k on all of them too. not as great as 10m ... but still gil.

This does not drop man. hands every time. I know cause the ONLY time i ever did this all i got was garbage.

As with a lot of BC's, this fight is much easier with SMNx3. AFx3 wipes all three leeches in seconds.

uhm...or u could just solo bcnm20 with bst...if u arent a !@#$%^&*.

id rather take my chances on bcnm40 and go for PCC which is 35mil on my server.
