need help getting subjob on Siren : FFXI General Discussions

I'm looking for a high-level player on Siren server to help my 19 RDM get the Magicked Skull for the subjob quest. I can't kill ghouls on my own and don't have the patience to stand there yelling for one forever. Send a tell or message to Togarth 19 Elvaan M rdm San d'Oria if u r willing to help.

Get into a lvling pt there and ask them to kill ghouls at night. I got my skull in a pt too... the drop rate there is higher i guess... cuz i helped a friend to get his skull in gusgen mines where there are plenty of ghouls. My blm friend was there too. We kill around 100+ ghouls i think ( we basically cleared the mines) and we got it in about 2 hrs. we chain 6 ghouls or more at a time and aoe to kill them. It was rather long so i think u shud get it in a lvling pt. gl anyways ^^

Problem is i can't find a party near my level that is both willing to camp in Gusgen and capable of surviving it. Have been L18+ for five days now and can't get this item.

dun camp in gusgen... go camp at places in dunes where the ghoul spawns..

Elemex u are a good man. Camped at secret beach in Dunes and had skull in 1/2 hour. Thanks for advice!

Elemex is right, as usual!!! Camp in the dunes, get into any party that needs you. Tell them you need a skull and when night comes, look for ghouls. You might need to pull during this time, because when I got my skull no one wanted to run all over the dunes looking for a ghoul. I ran for about 5 to 10 mins sometimes, but my party was cool and understood. If you work at it you can kill 3 ghouls per night. It took 3 Vana-diel days to get my skull. No pain, no gain.
