Need help making good solo gil with BLM75 : FFXI General Discussions

I know it's sad, but I just can't make consistent gil for my expense-heavy COR. I've tried HQing armor with my pretty high lvl bonecraft, and farming Marids/camping Megalobugard on and off, but nothing seems to net me any noticable gil (Megalo never drops <_<). Any suggestions as to what I could do/where I could farm as an above-average BLM soloer to make reliable gil would be greatly appreciated. :(

if u have high bones, bot the shells and hq black pearl is an easy gilmaking-while-u-sleep kinda way. or make reraise gorgets/pins

yeah I used to do the black pearl thing...but now the profit just really isn't there anymore, partially because there's like at least 6 stacks of black pearls up on AH at one time, and no stacks have sold within the past 2 weeks.

farm light crystals in sky. then either you or a friend bot craft holy water and sell to npc
you get 1-4 per synth at 350 gill each. if you come back with 30 clusters after 2 hour farming.

you can either sell them on the AH for 8k per cluster for a total of 250k

or

craft them into holy water wich has min of 125k or a max of 500k depending on your skill in alchemy.

the synth is lvl 51

and this is to NPC so it is instant money if you sell the holy water

well uh, my alchemy is 72, so this would be a viable option if I didn't play on PS2 <_<. That being said, it would take FOREVER to craft all those holy waters, seeing as botting isn't an option for me. So yah I'm looking for a more efficient way to make money for someone who can't bot <_<.

75 Black Mage huh..?
Sozu.... lol
Honestly his drop rape sucks.
But if you're not meriting or doing anything, go over to Sozu and try to get a Thief's knife.
