Party INVITE Alarm. : FFXI General Discussions

Just a thought but dont u hate when you accidently loose a party invite. Why hasnt anyone put some kind of a alarm setup for party invite's?.

Previous to the slight change in the chat filter that now allows a chime to play when you get a tell I would have agreed with you that we need a party invite alarm. Nowadays I can sit in Whitegate and seek party, go do something nearby with the volume turned up and as long as I have the chat filter on tell set to the musical note I don't lose party invites anymore.

However, that being said, I can see the party invite alarm being very practical when you're doing a HNMLS raid and the person in charge is taking their sweet time getting organized because they're on the phone or doing whatever, and you go afk to look at something then they just invite you out of the blue and get mad at you for not paying full attention...

I remeber when i played this back 2 years ago there was a download you could get on here that did this...
